As part of his statewide and nationwide engagements, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Kwara State, Engr. Yakubu Danladi- Salihu last Friday visited the National Youth House in Abuja.
During the visit, Danladi-Salihu had a robust engagement with young people under the leadership of the APC national youth leader, Hon. Abdullah Dayo Israel.
The APC governorship candidate charged the youths to remain focused, be good ambassadors, and work assiduously to reelect President Bola Tinubu and vote for all other APC candidates from top to the bottom across the states.
He said this is the only way to reward a government that is creating so many opportunities for the Nigerian youths.
Earlier, the APC national youth leader, Hon. Abdullah Dayo Israel, had took the governorship candidate on a tour of the National Youth House, showing him the facilities and resources put together to give youths a sense of belonging and bring out the best in them.
Israel expressed joy at the emergence of Danladi-Salihu as the APC governorship candidate for Kwara State, describing it as the youth mandate.
“I was overjoyed when you came first during the primary; as a youth, I am happy that our demography is not left behind and we are going to give you the needed support as the youngest governorship candidate in the country”, the national youth leader remarked.
Israel also praised the capacity of Rt. Danladi-Salihu, describing him as a “sound guy” while also appreciating Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for giving young people prominence in his government in line with the policy of President Bola Tinubu.
