American comedian and actor Chris Tucker has revealed that he has been celibate for over three years. He said he is choosing to wait until marriage before becoming intimate again.
The Rush Hour star disclosed during a comedy show at The Wynn in Las Vegas. He told the audience he is focused on marriage and living a different lifestyle now. He added that he is “really trying to get married” and wants to do things the right way this time.
He told the audience:
“Well, I’m celibate. I’m serious, and no one believes me.”
Tucker also joked that even his family find it hard to believe his decision. He said his niece believes in aliens, but still does not believe he has stayed celibate.
He shared more light-hearted moments from his dating life, including reactions from women who misunderstood his choice. He also joked that he sometimes talks to voice assistants like Siri and Alexa out of loneliness, drawing big laughs from the audience.
